An incredibly sweet romance. A hard working straightlaced young lady working her way towards a position in a prestigious law firm meets a local one time all star. Never have you seen such opposites, but they click almost from the word go!
Emerson the "older" woman falls for the hot baseball coach of the academy her younger brother is attending. Gavin, the coach, is intrigued with "Emmy" after meeting her at one of her brothers games. Passion erupts every time these two are in the same area, but Emmy trys to fight it, as it isn't part and parcel of her career path. But everything isn't as they plan and emotions push them into each others arms as the world around them spins slowly out of control.
One thing leads to another, and the lies and mideeds of a coworker end up with Emmy being fired. What will happen to Emmy, or her relationship with Gavin or with her father for that matter.
Absolute joy to read, incredible characters and a wonderful plot line that will keep immersed from beginning to end. Well written, I recommend this to all lovers of romance and a HEA!
